First few days in the MTC!!

CIAO!!!!!

WOW what a week. (Two days lol)

Well, no sugar coating it, these last two days have been LONG, HARD,

and I am TIRED. hahaha BUT I am having fun, and I know this is where I

am supposed to be. As soon as I got in they rushed me through a line

and gave me all this stuff, then went to my residence, and I had to

carry all my suit cases up 4 flights of stairs. UGH hahaha. Then we

immediately went to class and started learning the great language of

Italian!

LANGUAGE

Sooo the language is kind of easy, kind of fun. But everyone in my

district had a tutor before and so they’re way good at it. This

morning I said my first prayer in Italian and that was interesting!!

Hahaha Last night we memorized Moroni 10:5 “E mediante potere dello

Spirito Santo voi potrete conoscere la verità di ogni cosa.” (Just so

everyone knows I wrote that all by myself without looking at the

scripture haha) please pray for me that I can continue to learn

Italian!

LA MIA COLLEGA

Mia collega is Sorella Cooper and she is so cool! She is from Tooele

and we get along very well which makes me sooo happy hahaha. She was

also a CNA so we are very similar. The Sorelle in my room are awesome

as well! The other two are Sorella Gardine and Sorella Smith. They’re

hilarious and I love sharing a room with them. All the sisters in our

hall are so fun to hang out with and I love them!

FUNNY STUFF

So the very first day we met with the mtc president and the elder who

said the closing prayer stood up and says “dear elders and sisters” so

he literally prayed to us and it was hilarious. Hahahaha.

COOL STUFF

so while in the meeting with the mtc president we sang Army of

Helaman, and they changed the words to we are NOW the lords

missionaries. And oh my goodness that was the coolest thing I’ve ever

heard in my entire life. We went to the temple and did an Italian

session and it was way cool! Even though me and my companion fell

asleep during it.

I’m tired all the time haha. My goal this week is to learn at least 30

new words a day. And try to cut out a lot of English!! I love you all

so much!!! My  p day is on fridays, please please email me throughout

the week!!!!!
