I can’t wait to take a nap today.

EASTER
Easter was really cool. But Sunday’s don’t really feel like Sundays
here. Hahaha. We had church and a devotional and Elder Hafen from the
70 came. He and his wife spoke about giving the lord the benefit of
the doubt. Trusting the Lord isn’t blind faith.
They also told us that
our attitude is more important than what actually happened.

RANDOM STUFF
Every time we see the wives of our branch presidents and counselors we
give them hugs because we miss hugging our moms haha. The other day
my companion had a migraine so we stayed in bed for a little and it was
glorious. I can’t wait to take a nap today. Hahah. During exercise
time we always play lighting and I’m so good at basketball apparently.
I wasted my talents. Everyone thinks I look like Sandy from Spongebob
hahahaha. I hate ironing my own clothes and making my bed everyday and
doing laundry but oh well. It’s weird to think that I’m not going to
be home in my bed for 18 months.

DOCTORS VISIT
So we all know I’m always having random weird health things lol. So I
had to go to the clinic because somehow I got 7 warts on the tip of my
thumb, and one on my pointer finger on the other hand. So I had to get
them frozen off and it hurt soooo bad. It felt like 300 bees stinging
me in one spot at the same time. I’ve never had a wart before and I
don’t want to get another one ever hahahaha.

Tuesday Devotional
So on Tuesday Elder Rendlund and his wife came to speak to us and it
was SO COOL. As soon as he walked in the room and everyone stood it
was so cool. The spirit was so so strong. He talked a lot about how
baptism and confirmation are two separate events. And you aren’t a
member of the church until you’re confirmed. Me and my collega (companion) joined
the choir and we sang Testimony which is just a different version of I
know that my redeemer lives. It is the coolest song you could ever
imagine. The devotional was broadcast to all the MTCs around the
world so I hope they saw my face singing hahaha.

LANGUAGE
Italian is still super hard and the first few days I felt like I
learned so much but now I feel like I’ve kinda stopped learning. It’s
frustrating and teaching lessons in Italian is very hard because I
feel like I can’t even teach in English. Wednesday me and my collega
taught a lesson and we did horrible and it was so frustrating. That
was like the first really hard day that I’ve had here. I realized I
need to work so much harder and that I can’t do this on my own. I
can’t imagine being fluent. I wish I was called English speaking kind
of hahaha.

FUNNY
Nothing funny happened this week really. We’re always laughing but I
don’t remember what haha. One of the anziano is from Chile and he is
the happiest human  alive. He walks around singing and playing the
harmonica 100% of the time. Hahahaha we always make circles around him
and he yodels for us hahaha. His companion is from Uruguay and doesn’t
speak English like at all so me and my collega always talk to him in
Spanish and I feel like my Spanish is improving way more than my
Italian hahaha.

I love, love, love my companion so so much. We are seriously best
friends. I love the Anziani in our zone. The other Sorelle don’t like
us that much but it’s okay because the Anziani all said we’re the
coolest ones by far. Hahaha. I am so so happy the be here. I’m having
so much fun actually. I love the mtc and being a missionary!!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone who has emailed me! Keep emailing me please:)
